Job summary

Flex is seeking an NPI Engineer based in Batam to drive new product introduction activities across multiple departments, ensuring timely project delivery and alignment with quality and supply chain standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, and IT to plan, document, and execute planning, preparation, and integration tasks for diverse projects within a dynamic, spin-off context for SpinCo.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent.
• 5 years working experience in relevant position.
• Good knowledge on Production knowledge and Quality knowledge.
• Good knowledge on Supply Chain knowledge.
• Good knowledge in English language, both in speaking and writing.
• Good communication skill.
• Good team work and co-operation.
• Good skill in project related tools and quality related tools.

Responsibilities

• To carry out effectively and efficiently all tasks and activities assigned to this position.
• To report to the head of Technology and Quality about matters concerned.
• Continuously develop the competence to improve the quality and efficiency for the project management work.
• Follow up policies, procedures as well as company standard in daily work.
• To support Technical and Quality Team operation.
• To help the head of department in the management of general administrative affairs.
• To prepare/collect/distribute and make up documentation involved in department.
• To keep and archive Project Documents.
• To regularly collect NPI/TPI Project information related and provide to the head of department and relevant departmental interfaces for their information.
• To collect information for assigned project pre-study and feasibility study.
• To prepare Planning, Preparation, Implementation and Integration activities for the following areas: R&D, SMA Engineering, Test Engineering, Design Support Team, Quality, Operation team including manufacturing, warehouse etc, Souring, Supply Chain Management, IS/IT Systems, Finance, EHS.
• Participate in Project Follow Up meetings and Tollgate assessment meetings.
• Follow generic NPI process and develop competence to be able to run both research, platform and maintenance projects.
• Secure project deliverables seamless to line organization.
• Contribute to process establishment and optimization.
