Job summary

Flex is seeking an NPI Assistant Manager located in Batam, Indonesia. The role involves reviewing customer contracts and engineering designs, gathering data for product support, and partnering with senior managers on strategic plans.

Regular interaction with executives and customers and oversight of supplier management are key aspects of the position. The role emphasizes ensuring product safety and high quality, with responsibility for reporting implementation progress and maintaining

Qualifications

• Typically requires 6 years of engineering experience in the high technology electronics industry or related area.
• Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer relationship skills.
• Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes and interdependencies at the site.

What a typical day looks like:

• Participates in the review of customer contracts and engineering designs by outlining requirements and considerations.
• Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data.
• Partners with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.
• Interacts regularly with executives, customers, and outside regulatory agencies.
• Provides technical supplier management as related to product development and integration.
• Makes sure that the products are safe and maintain high quality for the customers.
• Reports the progress of implementation of Flex's products.
• Makes sure that the products provided to the customers are of high quality.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires 6 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.
• Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of the company and related business.
• Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
