Job summary

Save the Children International in Jakarta seeks a Finance Officer to manage daily cash, bank accounts, liquidity, and donor funds. You’ll ensure timely payments, accurate recording, and adherence to internal controls and donor requirements.

You will work with Finance, Programs, Fundraising, Grants, and external banking partners, supporting month-end closings, cash forecasts, and treasury controls in a multi-currency environment. Fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance, treasury, or accounting in NGO/donor-funded environment preferred.
• Hands-on experience with accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (Xero, Agresso, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable in line with internal controls and approvals.
• Prepare payment batches and execute payments via internet banking and gateways with proper authorization.
• Verify supporting documents before payment (contracts, POs, receipts, tax documents).
• Assist cash flow projections and liquidity management with Treasury Analyst.
• Record Bank Statements in Oracle and perform bank reconciliation; support month-end closing.
• Maintain banking relationships, signatory lists, and access controls; coordinate account changes.
• Ensure compliance with donor regulations, Indonesian tax laws, and internal policies.
• Support ERP system implementation and process improvements as required.
