Job summary

Save The Children Fund is seeking a Finance Coordinator (Development Project) to lead financial planning and reporting across programs in Indonesia. The role collaborates with the CFO, grants, and project teams to ensure sustainable funding and compliant financial governance.

The incumbent will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and regular financial analysis to support humanitarian projects, with a focus on strengthening local financial systems and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years’ NGO or corporate finance experience.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Ability to analyze information and plan strategically.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in Indonesian; strong English written and spoken.
• Willingness to be stationed in field offices with travel.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiency.
• Audit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial planning, reporting and governance oversight for development programs.
• Ensure monthly/annual closings are accurate and timely.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and donor reporting.
• Coordinate with awards, finance and humanitarian teams to maintain financial controls.
• Lead internal and external audits and respond to findings.
