Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a molecular biology related field.
• 1+ years of molecular biology lab experience, preferably in industrial or research setting.
• Strong understanding of molecular biology principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, and gel electrophoresis.
• Experience with sequencing technologies (Sanger, NGS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with LIMS is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, gel electrophoresis, sequencing).
• Prepare and analyze samples with proper labeling, handling, and storage protocols.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment (thermal cyclers, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, genetic analyzers).
• Document procedures, observations, and results in notebooks and databases.
• Perform data analysis and interpretation; prepare reports.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize protocols.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment following guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments.
• Stay updated on new molecular biology techniques.
• Assist in development and validation of new molecular assays.
