Job summary

Busana Apparel Group in Indonesia seeks a Technical Designer to drive product development from concept to samples. You will craft sketches, patterns, and prototypes, select fabrics, and work with production, marketing and sales to ensure brand standards are met.

The candidate should have 2+ years in technical design or related roles, strong garment construction knowledge, and proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools, with good English communication for cross‑functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a fashion/garment related field.
• At least 2 years in technical design or product development in garments/textiles.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and sewing techniques.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools for technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop product ranges with sketches, patterns, and prototypes.
• Select best raw materials for samples and liaise with suppliers/factories.
• Create and present designs to customers and management.
• Collaborate with production, marketing, and sales to realize designs.
• Develop embroideries, prints, and accessories using fashion software.
• Understand buyers mood boards, seasonal color trends, and fabric quality.
• Ensure timely and successful design and development aligned with requirements.
• Present concepts effectively for customer and buyer satisfaction.
