Job summary

Tera Fashion in Jakarta seeks a Product Development expert to optimize sample garments and bring them to commercial reality for Indonesian womenswear. You will source samples, modify sizing, fit, and fabric, and manage production with local factories.

You will lead pattern making, grading, and Tech Pack creation while coordinating with factories, ensuring bulk production matches approved samples, and using market data to improve future products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Fashion Design or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fashion, especially in womenswear.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in e-commerce or fast fashion.
• Strong skills in pattern making, grading, fitting, and garment construction.
• Good knowledge of fabric properties, including drape, shrinkage, and colorfastness.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop and Tech Pack preparation.
• Strong knowledge of local fabric, trim, and garment factory markets in Indonesia.
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Willing to travel to factories/markets and accept Saturday work schedules.

Responsibilities

• Research fashion trends, competitors, and e-commerce data to identify potential bestselling products.
• Select and develop samples suitable for the Indonesian womenswear.
• Handle fabric & trim sourcing, sample development, pattern adjustment, fitting, grading, and Tech Pack creation.
• Optimize fit, construction, material usage, quality, and product cost.
• Coordinate with garment factories/workshops for sampling and production.
• Manage small-batch production, production timelines, and quality control.
• Conduct fitting sessions and provide technical corrections to factories.
• Ensure bulk production matches approved samples and quality standards.
• Analyze customer feedback, sales, and return data to improve future products.
• Conduct factory and market visits as required.
