Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field with at least 2 years in hydrology/hydrogeology.
• Master's degree preferred in hydrology, hydrogeology, or water resources.
• Mining industry experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with field data collection, water sampling, and equipment installation.
• Hydrological modeling, data analysis, and fieldwork experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety tasks for hydro projects and risk management.
• Develop and implement water management plans around mine areas.
• Design and oversee water supply and drainage systems.
• Identify environmental risks and mitigate via water solutions.
• Apply civil engineering principles to water infrastructure projects.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling to optimize designs.
• Evaluate water conservation and efficiency measures at the mine site.
• Provide technical support and communicate plans to stakeholders.
