Job summary

PT United Tractors Tbk is seeking a Research and Business Development: Mineral Engineer to develop strategies for expanding in the mineral sector and to build partnerships with mining entities, government bodies, and investors. The role involves analyzing geological data and market intelligence to identify investment opportunities.

The candidate will provide technical support for BD initiatives, interpret geological data, and assess resource potential and regulatory feasibility of mining

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or maximum 3 years of experience in related field.
• Minimum Master’s degree in Metallurgy, Geology, Mining Engineering, Mineral or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.25
• Fluent in English, able to use it in daily conversation and correspondence
• Capable of speaking Mandarin, it can be considered a plus point.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, proactive thinking, strong learning, and adaptation abilities
• Experience with handling end-to-end business expansion
• Willing to be placed throughout Indonesia

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s presence in the mineral industry, including market entry plans and client acquisition strategies
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, including mining companies, government agencies, and investors, to explore partnership opportunities.
• Analyze geological data, exploration reports, and market intelligence to identify potential mining sites and investment opportunities.
• Provide technical support and expertise to business development initiatives, including interpreting geological data, assessing mineral resources, and optimizing mining processes.
• Assess the technical feasibility and economic viability of mineral exploration and mining projects, considering geological characteristics, resource estimation, and regulatory requirements.
