Job summary

PT United Tractors Tbk, Jakarta area, is seeking a Research and Business Development: Hydro Engineer to lead feasibility studies, planning and design, and environmental evaluation for hydro projects across Indonesia.

The role focuses on expanding the company’s hydro presence, interpreting technical data, conducting site assessments, and supporting business expansion nationwide; fresh graduates with up to 3 years experience and a Master’s in related fields are welcome.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or maximum 3 years of experience in related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00.
• Fluent in English, able to use it in daily conversation and correspondence.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, proactive thinking, strong learning, and adaptation abilities.
• Experience with handling end-to-end business expansion.
• Have strong basic experience in understanding water flow, rainfall patterns, and geographic characteristics in PLTA.
• Willing to be placed throughout Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Has responsibilities in conducting Feasibility Studies, Planning and Design, Project Management, and Environmental Evaluation to be able to develop, and ensure operations can be carried out appropriately and efficiently.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s presence in the hydro industry, including identifying new markets and business opportunities.
• Provide technical expertise and support to business development initiatives, including interpreting technical data, conducting site assessments, and optimizing project designs.
• Conduct research on hydro industry trends, including market demand, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
• Assess the technical feasibility and economic viability of hydroelectric projects, considering factors such as water resources, site conditions, and environmental impact.
