Job summary

Talent Search Recruitment - Indonesia is assisting a leading multinational coal mining group in Kalimantan to fill a Mining Operations Supervisor role. The successful candidate will supervise on-site daily mining activities, ensure safety standards, and drive productivity and cost-efficiency.

The position requires 3–7 years in mine operations, a Mining Eng degree (Diploma or Bachelors), and willingness to work a 10:2 roster on-site at a remote location. Competitive package offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in mine operations.
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment operations and mining workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily mining activities including drilling, loading, hauling, and dumping.
• Ensure compliance with safety (K3) and operational procedures.
• Coordinate equipment utilization and basic maintenance with the maintenance team.
• Monitor production performance and prepare daily/weekly operational reports.
• Conduct field inspections and supervise contractors and operators.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
