Qualifications

Hands-on experience in mining operations and SHE systems in the mining industry.

Responsibilities

Produce internal regulations applying good mining engineering principles.
Appoint operational and technical supervisors.
Certify and evaluate PJO performance.
Ensure compliance of mining service companies with laws and provisions.
Apply standards per statutory provisions and submit reports as required.
Maintain a mining safety management system and supervise its implementation.
Report environmental management and monitoring activities regularly.
Report hazards and environmental pollution risks and respond promptly.
Deliver internal audit reports on safety management systems.
Stipulate procedures for environmental protection and mining engineering practices.
Conserve mineral and coal resources and oversee technical management of mining activities.
