Job summary

Talent Search Recruitment - Indonesia is seeking a Mine Supervisor for Samarinda, East Kalimantan. You will oversee on-site extraction, hauling, and heavy equipment activities to meet production targets safely and in compliance with regulations.

The role requires 4-8 years in mining with supervisory exposure, knowledge of mining methods, leadership, and strong communication. English is an advantage; roster is 9:2. On-site role with a multinational client.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-8 years of operational experience, including supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of open-pit or underground mining methods, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Certifications, such as a Production Foreman Certification or relevant local Mining Technical Certification (e.g., POP, POM).
• English speaking ability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership: enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments and promote zero-harm culture.
• Production Management: supervise drilling, loading and hauling to meet hourly and daily targets.
• Equipment Coordination: position heavy equipment to optimize utilization and minimize downtime.
• Personnel Supervision: lead crews, schedule shifts, train and coach staff.
• Planning & Reporting: implement plans, review metrics and submit detailed reports.
