Job summary

Cermati.com is looking for a Merchant Relations Specialist in Balikpapan to build and manage a regional merchant network. You will train merchants on Indodana product knowledge and dashboards, and lead program implementations to boost revenue.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in financial services, a strong merchant network, and solid negotiation, leadership, and communication skills. A SIM A/C license and vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree from any major.
• 1–2 years of experience in a financial company.
• Vast network in local brand/retail merchants preferred.
• Strong analytical skills in sales and performance monitoring.
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Holding SIM A and C licenses and owning a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, liaise and maintain relationships with local merchants.
• Merchant training on Indodana product knowledge and merchant dashboard.
• Drive implementation for merchant programs to boost top line metrics.
• Deal with merchants to support promotion media, communication, placement and sales.
• Identify, research and maintain relationships with merchants.
• Analyze market trends and develop sales programs based on demand and competition.
• Suggest product improvements based on client feedback.
• Create partnerships with brands, online merchants, and payment gateways.
• Develop customized presentations for potential partners.
