Job summary

DayOne seeks an Assistant Project Manager to oversee the full MEP construction lifecycle for data centers, coordinating with site teams and contractors to ensure on-time handover of reliable facilities.

The role requires 10+ years in construction PM, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, fire protection and plumbing, IST testing, and CAPEX planning, with an engineering degree. This is an on-site position based in Indonesia, offering growth within a global data-center group.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction project management, data center experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, power systems, fire protection and plumbing.
• Expertise in MEP systems, local authority approvals and IST testing/commissioning.
• CAPEX planning, cost estimation and total cost of ownership for M&E in data centers.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical or related field.
• Proficiency with project management tools and MS Office; strong organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; APAC language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire MEP construction lifecycle from planning to handover.
• Coordinate with site teams and contractors; manage budgets and schedules.
• Lead MEP contract negotiations and track amendments with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external consultants for design and systems coordination.
• Ensure safety compliance and regulatory permitting on site.
• Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance across projects.
