Job summary

PT Karyagraha Nusantara in South Jakarta seeks an experienced MEP Engineer to design and implement MEP systems for building operations, including data center considerations. You will prepare drawings and specifications, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support installation and commissioning while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years of MEP design experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• 3–5 years of professional MEP design and engineering experience for high-rise buildings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent CAD platforms
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution, UPS, Diesel Generators, Fire Detection, HVAC, BAS, PLC
• Familiarity with Building Management System (BMS-BAS)
• Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills with attention to detail
• Working knowledge of wiring installations in data-center environments (fiber optic, Meet-Me Room)
• Jakarta area domicile preferred

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking a talented MEP Engineering to join PT Karyagraha Nusantara in South Jakarta, Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, planning, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our building operational. As an MEP Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all building systems are efficiently integrated, compliant with regulations, and optimised for performance.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire safety systems for building with data center operations.

Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD and Building Management System (BMS-BAS).

Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for MEP installations and upgrades.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of building systems.

Conduct periodic inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems.

Prepare project reports, documentation, and as-built records for client handover.

Implement and enforce corporate safety, health and environmental policies, including activities of outside contractors, to insure no adverse affect on the operation of the facility.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline

Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in MEP design and engineering for high-rise building

Proficiency in MEP design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent CAD platforms

Strong knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution, Dynamic and Static UPS, Diesel Generators, Fire Detection Systems, HVAC, Building Automation Systems, MVDP, LVMDP, SDP, CPGS, Programable Logic Control (PLC)

Familiarity with Building Management System (BMS-BAS)

Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills with attention to detail

Working knowledge in wire intallations of building, especially building with data center operations (fiber optic, Meet-Me Room, etc.)

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams

Preferably domiciled in Jakarta area.
