Job summary

Eco-mantra, a Bali-based environmental engineering consultancy, seeks an experienced MEP Engineer to lead design development from concept to construction, translating sustainability frameworks into practical solutions. You will coordinate with architects, clients, and other engineers, providing technical leadership and ensuring rigorous documentation.

The role requires at least 5 years in MEP design, hospitality project exposure, and strong skills in AutoCAD, with fluent English and site-aware

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of MEP engineering design experience in building projects (hospitality a major advantage).
• Strong expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing systems; knowledge in Electrical/Electronic systems is a plus.
• Fluent in AutoCAD and experienced with construction documentation.
• Site experience and understanding of construction constraints.
• Excellent written and spoken English; sustainability as a design responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP design development from concept through construction.

Your Role

As a MEP Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering technically sound, environmentally responsible, and commercially viable MEP systems. You will gain responsibility, autonomy, and exposure to complex projects. Your work will include:

• Leading MEP design development from concept through construction.
• Translating sustainability frameworks into engineering solutions.
• Coordinating with architects, clients, consultants, and contractors across project stages.
• Providing technical leadership to junior engineers and project teams.
• Reviewing drawings, calculations, BOQs, and specifications with precision.
• Supporting site execution and solving implementation challenges.

What we look for

• Have a minimum of 5 years of MEP Engineering Design experience in building projects. Hospitality building experience is a major advantage.
• Have strong expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing systems. Strong knowledge and experience in Electrical/Electronic will be a huge advantage.
• Are fluent in AutoCAD and experienced with construction documentation.
• Have site experience and understand construction constraints.
