Job summary

Arup Indonesia is seeking a BIM Modeler to develop and coordinate BIM models across concept design to construction. You’ll work with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure data integrity and alignment with project schedules.

You will implement BIM standards, review deliverables for quality, and contribute to continuous improvement while collaborating in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certs in building services or drafting relevant to the role.
• MEP Building Services experience within a consulting environment.
• Proficiency in listed BIM software: Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, Revizto, Bluebeam.
• Experience across project phases from concept to construction.
• Detail-oriented with problem solving and accuracy.
• Proactive, adaptable and collaborative in fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models across project stages from concept to construction.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors to ensure model consistency.
• Support BIM implementation, enforcing standards and best practices.
• Review quality and accuracy of BIM deliverables and documentation.
• Represent team in meetings and contribute to research and continuous improvement.

This Modeler role will contribute to the seamless integration of design and construction processes. Drawing on your intermediate-level expertise, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining BIM models for a variety of projects, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. Your responsibilities will encompass the creation of detailed 3D models, coordination with other disciplines, and the production of construction documentation. Additionally, you will contribute to the implementation of BIM best practices, ensuring data accuracy, model integrity, and adherence to project timelines. This role offers a unique opportunity to further enhance your BIM proficiency, engage in diverse and challenging projects, and actively contribute to the advancement of BIM workflows within a dynamic and collaborative engineering environment.

The Opportunity

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models across multiple project stages, from concept design through to construction.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure model consistency, coordination, and information accuracy.
• Support BIM implementation on projects, including the application and enforcement of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of BIM deliverables, documentation, reports, and project information.
• Represent the team in internal and external meetings, provide guidance to colleagues where required, and contribute to research, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Is this role right for you?

• Recognized relevant qualification such as a Diploma in Building and Construction, Cert IV in Engineering drafting, Diploma in Electrical Engineer, or a Cert IV in Plumbing services.
• Relevant MEP Building Services experience within a consulting business environment.
• Proficiency in BIM software including Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, Revizto, and Bluebeam.
• Relevant experience in various projects phases, from concept development to construction.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality standards, solve problems effectively, and ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
• A proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration in a fast-paced project environment.
