Job summary

Rumah Sakit Pondok Indah Group seeks an experienced Head of Medical Records to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure accurate documentation and data management, and maintain compliant records across the hospital.

You will lead a team, develop SOPs, analyze service data for planning decisions, and coordinate staffing and resources to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma/D3 in Medical Records or Health Information Management.
• Experience in hospital Medical Records Unit, with leadership exposure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data processing and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills with ownership mindset.
• Active English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Medical Records Unit, including documentation, storage, retrieval, and data management.
• Develop and evaluate Medical Records policies, guidelines, and SOPs in line with hospital requirements.
• Prepare and analyze medical records and service data to support reporting and management decisions.
• Plan and manage staffing and resources for effective service delivery.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Medical Records team, including task allocation and day-to-day coordination.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Medical Records Unit, ensuring effective management of medical records, including documentation, storage, retrieval, and data management.
• Develop and evaluate Medical Records systems, policies, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with hospital requirements.
• Prepare and analyze medical records and hospital service data to support reporting, planning, and management decision-making.
• Plan and manage the unit’s staffing and operational resources to ensure effective service delivery.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Medical Records team, including task allocation and day-to-day work coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Medical Records / Health Information Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a hospital Medical Records Unit, including at least 3 years in a leadership role such as Unit Head, Team Leader, or Supervisor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data processing and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to completing tasks.
• Active English proficiency, both written and spoken.
