Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a Plant Manager to lead production targets and ensure product quality at our Medan facility in Indonesia. You will oversee the Plant team, monitor costs and investments, and drive continuous improvement, with a focus on safety per K3 and 5S standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and has 3–6 years of Plant Manager or 6+ years in Production/ME supervision, complemented by strong leadership and English proficiency; Mandarin is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years as Plant Manager in the same industry or 5+ years in a different industry.
• 6+ years as Production/ME Supervisor considered.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and achieve production targets while ensuring product quality and quantity.
• Lead, monitor, and evaluate Plant team performance; develop personnel.
• Monitor Plant costs, investments, and operational development for efficiency.
• Analyze operational issues and implement strategies and improvements.
• Ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment per K3 and 5S standards.
