Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a Plant Manager to lead production targets and ensure product quality at our Medan facility in Indonesia. You will oversee the Plant team, monitor costs and investments, and drive continuous improvement, with a focus on safety per K3 and 5S standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and has 3–6 years of Plant Manager or 6+ years in Production/ME supervision, complemented by strong leadership and English proficiency; Mandarin is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years as Plant Manager in the same industry or 5+ years in a different industry.
• 6+ years as Production/ME Supervisor considered.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); Mandarin is a plus.

• Willing to be placed in Medan.

• Merencanakan dan mencapai target produksi dengan memastikan kualitas dan kuantitas produk.
• Memimpin, memonitor, dan mengevaluasi kinerja tim Plant serta mengembangkan SDM.
• Mengelola biaya, investasi, dan pengembangan operasional Plant.
• Menganalisis permasalahan operasional serta mengembangkan strategi, inisiatif, dan inovasi secara berkelanjutan.
• Memastikan lingkungan kerja yang aman, sehat, dan kondusif sesuai dengan standar K3 dan 5S.

Kualifikasi

• Minimal sarjana (S1) di jurusan Teknik Mesin/Elektro/Mekatronika/ Industri.
• Memiliki pengalaman minimal 3 tahun sebagai Plant Manager di industri yang sama atau 5 tahun di industri berbeda. Atau, memiliki pengalaman minimal 6 tahun sebagai Supervisor Produksi/ME.
• Memiliki kemampuan leadership, analitis, dan problem solving yang baik.
• Memiliki kemampuan Bahasa Inggris secara lisan dan tulisan (wajib) serta kemampuan Bahasa Mandarin (menjadi nilai tambah).
• Bersedia ditempatkan di Medan.
