Job summary

ofi is a global leader in food & beverage ingredients, seeking a Mechanical Technician in Indonesia. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing machinery, collaborating with Production and Engineering to drive improvements, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Candidates should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and be proficient in GTAW welding. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D1/D3) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Good understanding of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and mechanical systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Skilled in GTAW (Argon/TIG Welding).
• Strong communication skills, particularly in reporting equipment issues and coordinating maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities in accordance with the established maintenance schedule.
• Execute corrective maintenance and troubleshooting based on preventive maintenance findings and equipment breakdowns.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to drive equipment and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
