Job summary

PT BICC BERCA Cables in Indonesia seeks a Mechanical Maintenance lead with a D4 in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. You will supervise the mechanical maintenance team, plan PM and PdM for plant machinery, and oversee workshop fabrication and modification projects.

You will lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and drive Kaizen and 5S/5R initiatives to boost reliability and efficiency across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma's Degree (D4) in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in mechanical maintenance (experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Proven ability in executing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) strategies.
• Proficient in implementing Kaizen and 5S / 5R methodologies on the operational floor.
• Ability to conduct training, mentoring, and technical skill development for the mechanical team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise daily tasks, performance, and operational activities of the mechanical maintenance team.
• Plan, execute, and monitor Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) for plant machinery and equipment.
• Oversee and control all workshop fabrication and modification projects.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex mechanical failures and machine breakdowns.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing Kaizen initiatives to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain 5S / 5R standards across the mechanical workshop and work areas.
• Identify skill gaps within the team and provide necessary technical training and guidance.
