Job summary

Peoplyee in Cikarang seeks a Mechanical and Electrical Chief to oversee site engineering activities, ensure compliance with technical standards, and coordinate with subcontractors. The role requires leading engineers, reviewing drawings, and maintaining project schedules.

You will monitor material availability, manage safety and government regulations, and provide direction to the team at the project site office in Cikarang. Strong leadership and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with GPA ≥ 3.0.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Minimum 3 years as Mechanical and Electrical Site Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years experience with a mechanical and electrical subcontractor.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read general mechanical and electrical drawings for LV/HV systems.
• Knowledge of government regulations related to mechanical and electrical work.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Estimation Division to prepare cost summaries for quotations.
• Verify customer orders, specifications and scopes of work.
• Conduct project site inspections when necessary.
• Prepare inquiries and request quotations from subcontractors with design drawings and BOQs.
• Review subcontractor quotations and drawings for price, timeline, scope and quality.
• Evaluate proposed systems for compliance with project requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Provide direction to engineers and review their work when needed.
• Review specifications and verify design calculations.
• Monitor prices and availability of materials and equipment.
• Supervise subcontractor activities on site.
• Ensure work complies with technical standards, schedules and regulations.
