Job summary

Sinar Mas Land is seeking a qualified Building MEP Operations Lead to oversee all mechanical systems for a shopping center. You will coordinate engineers and contractors, monitor HVAC readiness, and ensure seamless operation of water pumps, cooling systems, and plumbing networks in a busy commercial complex in Central Jakarta.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience in building operations, and strong vendor management

Job description

• Oversee operations and ensure the readiness of the building’s mechanical systems, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, including Water-Cooled Packaged (WCP) units, cooling towers, Condenser Water Pumps (CWP), split-ducted AC units, split-type AC units, exhaust fans, and ventilation systems.
• Plumbing systems, including clean water supply, wastewater, Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), recycled water (Ultrafiltration/UF) systems, and drainage.
• Transfer pumps, booster pumps, sump pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
• Escalators, elevators/lifts, and gondola systems (in coordination with vendors).
• Building fire pump systems, including jockey pumps, main pumps, and standby pumps.
• Sanitary fixtures, such as toilets, urinals, water closets
• Address tenant complaints regarding issues such as insufficient AC cooling, condensation leaks, unusual odors, clogged drainage, or ventilation disruptions.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Building Maintenance, or Building Operations.
• Has experience with shopping buildings, shopping centers, and commercial buildings.
• Experienced in coordinating technicians, overseeing maintenance work, and managing mechanical vendors.
• Having knowledge of working drawings and MEP materials.
• Proficient in using MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and CAD.
• Know about working drawings and MEP materials.
• Creative, communicative, and possessing a high level of initiative.
• Willing to be placed in ITC Roxy Mas, Central Jakarta.
