Job summary

Dynapack Asia is seeking a Material Planner to manage material planning, optimize inventory, and ensure timely procurement of raw materials and packaging.

The role requires SAP familiarity, strong Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate across departments to prevent production disruptions. 2+ years of experience in material planning is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and audit compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/ Informatics/ Electrical Eng.
• At least 2 years in material planning or supply chain.
• Familiar with SAP system.
• Proficient in Excel for data processing.
• Strong attention to detail and cross-department communication.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and control quantities and availability of raw materials and supporting items based on sales forecasts.
• Ensure all production materials are purchased in the correct quantities and delivered on time to prevent production disruptions.
• Create Purchase Requisitions (PR) systematically through SAP for all necessary materials.
• Develop and execute strategies to minimize inventory levels without compromising production.
• Monitor aging stock and deadstock, identifying root causes and elimination strategies.
• Generate monthly DIH reports for raw materials, supporting materials, and packaging.
• Prepare monthly tracking reports on slow-moving and dead stock with actionable targets for reduction.
• Ensure planning and inventory processes comply with customer audits and ISO standards.

Responsibilities:

• Calculate and control the required quantities and availability of raw materials and supporting items based on sales forecasts.
• Ensure all production materials are purchased in the correct quantities and delivered on time to prevent production disruptions.
• Create Purchase Requisitions (PR) systematically through SAP for all necessary materials.
• Develop and execute strategies to minimize inventory levels without compromising the smoothness of production.
• Monitor and manage aging stock and deadstock, proactively identifying root causes and executing elimination strategies.
• Generate monthly management reports on Days Inventory Held (DIH) for raw materials, supporting materials, and packaging.
• Prepare monthly tracking reports on slow-moving and dead stock, including actionable targets for reduction.
• Ensure all planning and inventory processes comply with customer audit and ISO standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Informatics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in material planning, supply chain, or a related field.
• Familiarity with the SAP system.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for daily data processing and calculations.
• High attention to detail & good communication and follow-up skills to coordinate effectively across departments.
