Job summary

Waypoint Port Services Indonesia is seeking a Country Manager to lead operations, drive commercial growth, optimize procurement, and ensure operational excellence across Indonesia. You will secure new clients, manage vendor relations, oversee P&L, and align local efforts with global objectives while maintaining integrity with local regulations.

This role requires a strong network in maritime circles, strategic leadership, and fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior commercial role in Indonesia.
• Strong network within the shipping and port community in Indonesia.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the commercial and growth strategy in Indonesia.
• Secure new clients and expand market share.
• Oversee the P&L and financial performance for Indonesia.
• Represent the company at business development meetings and events.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and SOP adherence in all activities.
• Coordinate with regional and global leadership on sales goals.
