Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with managerial or leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in manufacturing or factory operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, GL, financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliation, and accounting software.
• Hands-on experience with transfer pricing is required.
• Proven financial analytical, problem-solving, and cost-control capabilities.
• Experience in developing and leading finance/accounting teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Willing to work on-site in Semarang and support factory/site requirements.

Responsibilities

The Finance & Accounting Manager will play a key role in establishing reliable financial systems and providing management with accurate financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Job Role

The Finance & Accounting Manager is a managerial position responsible for overseeing the company's finance and accounting operations, with a strong focus on financial control, budgeting, cost management, inventory reconciliation, tax compliance, and management reporting.

This role will lead the finance and accounting team while establishing and maintaining effective financial systems to support factory operations. The position will also provide management with accurate cost reports, profit and loss statements, forecasts, and annual financial reporting.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance professional with strong accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, and experience working in a manufacturing environment. The role requires someone who can manage day-to-day finance operations while also identifying opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, internal controls, and resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain accounting, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and financial control systems.
• Lead, manage, train, and supervise the finance and accounting team.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, quarterly P&L statements, annual financial reports, and management reports.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts for different departments.
• Review and approve purchases while monitoring expenses and maintaining effective cost controls.
• Conduct and supervise daily, weekly, monthly, and annual account reconciliations and inventory/stock verification.
• Coordinate with independent auditors and support the company's audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
• Monitor financial performance and evaluate profitability, operational efficiency, processes, and resource utilization.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support business and operational decisions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with proven experience in a managerial, supervisory, or team leadership capacity.
• Experience in manufacturing, factory operations, or a similar industrial environment is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, General Ledger (GL), financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliation, and accounting software.
• Hands-on experience with transfer pricing is required.
