What You Will Do:

• Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
• Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas.
• Providing coaching and development for operations technical staff and support areas.
• Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.

What Skills You Have:

• Engineering: Knowledge of processes, techniques and methods of engineering in a manufacturing environment; ability to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems and processes that safely realize a desired objective or invention.
• Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
• Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
• Operational Functions: Knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Judgment and Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.
• Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
• Manufacturing Equipment: Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update and store them.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Educational Background: Bachelor\'s degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role. Preferably, prior experience working in a manufacturing environment, particularly in heavy machinery or large components with assembly processes.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is essential.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and applying mechanical drawings for complex assembly processes, skilled in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, particularly Creo, Autocad and Inventor to support design and manufacturing initiatives and proficient in leveraging assembly-focused applications such as Teamcenter to manage product data and streamline workflows.
• Process Knowledge: Familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience utilizing Power BI to develop manufacturing dashboards and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA/Macro development, to automate engineering calculations and streamline reporting processes.
• Proven experience in managing departmental functions related to capital projects, including cost control, budgeting, and resource planning to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
