Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Indonesian taxation, preferably within shipping, maritime transportation, logistics, trading, or other multinational business environments.
• At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience or responsibility for reviewing and coordinating tax compliance activities.
• Proven hands-on experience preparing monthly tax calculations and returns, Annual Corporate Income Tax Returns, and tax-related financial reports.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, particularly corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and applicable tax compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to review accounting transactions and determine appropriate tax treatment.
• Experience identifying tax risks and coordinating with authorities or consultants.
• Good understanding of tax planning and regulatory developments.
• Proficiency in tax reporting, reconciliations, and software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit monthly tax calculations and returns in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations.
• Assist in preparing and submitting the Annual Corporate Income Tax Return and other required tax reports.
• Review journal vouchers, accounting transactions, invoices, and supporting documents for proper tax treatment.
• Monitor corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and other tax obligations.
• Identify potential tax exposures, compliance gaps, and tax-related financial risks.
• Ensure timely tax payments and accurate reporting with maintained tax records.
• Support tax audits and examinations with reconciliations and working papers.
• Coordinate with tax authorities and external consultants on audits, objections, or appeals.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impact on operations.
• Identify opportunities for compliant tax planning and optimization.
