Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Tax Supervisor to oversee Indonesian tax compliance in a multinational setting. The role reports to a Chinese Finance Manager and collaborates with the accounting team, tax authorities, and external consultants.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of Indonesian taxation experience, BKP and Brevet A/B/C certifications, and fluency in Mandarin and English to support cross-border governance and advisory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
• 3–5 years Indonesian taxation experience, preferably in shipping, logistics, or multinational environments.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience in tax compliance.
• Valid BKP and Brevet A,B,C certificates.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Experience with tax audits and interactions with authorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly Indonesian tax returns.
• Prepare Annual Corporate Income Tax Returns and other reports.
• Review transactions for correct tax treatment.
• Monitor corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes.
• Identify tax exposures and compliance gaps.
• Support tax audits and liaison with authorities/external consultants.
• Coordinate with accounting, AP, and tax teams on tax matters.
• Maintain and organize tax records and documentation.
