Job summary

PT LKI Machinery Indonesia is seeking a proactive Sales Engineer in Batam to drive revenue with Chinese customers. You will manage pipelines, quotations, and forecast accuracy while coordinating with internal teams to ensure orders are delivered per contract.

The role requires building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, monitoring competitors, and ensuring timely payment collection. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

To achieve sales target set by the company.
To generate and submits accurate pipeline, quotation, forecast on sales & payment collection on a regular basis.
To liaise with the Chinese customers on the secured projects to implement and carry out the scope of delivery as stated in the purchase order/sales contract and generate billing/invoice accordingly.
To build and maintain strong relationships with Chinese customers by maintaining regular calls and visits. Make formal presentations to customers and the industries as required.
To maintain the existing customers base and develop new customers base from time to time in order to have a continuous business expansion.
To maintain constant field intelligence, feeds back pertinent information concerning competitors' activities, products, prices, promotional programs etc.
To liaise with the Sales & Marketing Support and Finance Department pertaining to the workflow system, timely collection of payments from customers, credit issues and maintaining good customer credit profile.
To ensure accurate and timely response to all customers at all time.
