Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking an R&D Formulation Manager – Personal Care in Tangerang. You will lead development of new skincare, haircare, and body care formulations from concept to production, with emphasis on scratch formulations and innovation beyond routine reformulation.

You will build and mentor the local R&D team in Indonesia, establish protocols, oversee trials and stability testing, and ensure compliance with BPOM Indonesia and international cosmetic safety standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable track record of developing new formulations from scratch in cosmetic/personal care.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Expertise in emulsion technology, surfactants, active ingredients, and formulation optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation research and product innovation from concept to production-ready formulas.
• Identify new product opportunities via raw materials, actives, and consumer insights.
• Oversee laboratory trials, stability testing, and technical validation.
• Manage scale-up from lab/pilot to mass production with consistent formulas.
• Develop skincare, haircare, and body care formulations and ensure regulatory compliance.
