Job summary

Teleport in Bali, Indonesia seeks an experienced Business Development professional to drive local and international cargo accounts. You will lead sales activities, optimize space utilization on flights, and negotiate freight rates with clients and overseas agents.

The role requires 5+ years in freight forwarding or air cargo with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the freight forwarding or air cargo industry, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• In-depth understanding of global forwarding, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• Exceptional commercial acumen, high-level negotiation skills, and strong proficiency in English for international communication.
• Willing to be based in Bali

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new local and international cargo accounts to drive volume.
• Plan and implement sales activities to maximize cargo capacity on flights and meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.
• Analyze market trends, prepare competitive quotations, and negotiate freight rates with clients and overseas agents.
• Mentor and support sales representatives, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Liaise with operations, pricing, and customer service to ensure shipments are handled efficiently from origin to destination.
