Job summary

Grab is seeking a Manager for Mobility Marketplace in Jakarta, Indonesia. Define, lead, and own the strategic direction of our Mobility Marketplace platform and drive performance across Indonesia's mobility market. You will work with cross-functional teams and report to the Senior Manager, with the role based onsite.

You will combine analytical rigor with business strategy to influence stakeholders, improving profitability, customer experience, and platform growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategy, analytics, PM, consulting, or tech environments.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL or Python knowledge.
• Experience managing cross-team projects from problem definition to delivery.
• Experience designing experiments and measuring outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; quantitative backgrounds advantageous.
• Experience in ride-hailing, marketplaces, logistics, or e-commerce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketplace projects to improve reliability and passenger experience across Indonesia's mobility services.
• Monitor performance, investigate anomalies, and coordinate cross‑team root cause actions.
• Translate data insights from passengers and drivers into actionable improvements.
• Develop tactical solutions and long-term plans to enhance availability and booking quality.
• Design and run experiments end-to-end, from hypothesis to results.

The Group Marketplace team manages Grab's marketplaces across Southeast Asia. You will work with team members across multiple departments by marketplace levers such as pricing, incentives, and allocation. The team also generates business insights and proposes data-driven strategic plans to grow the business across both transport and deliveries.

Get to Know the Role

We're looking for a Manager, Mobility Marketplace to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this role, you'll define, lead, and own the strategic direction and health of our Mobility Marketplace platform. You'll combine analytical rigor with business strategy to influence stakeholders and drive marketplace performance across the Indonesia mobility market. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our platform's growth, profitability, and customer experience while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will directly report to the Senior Manager. The role will be based onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Lead marketplace projects and workstreams to improve reliability and passenger experience across Indonesia's 2W and 4W mobility services.
• Monitor marketplace performance, investigate anomalies, and work with Product, Operations, and other teams to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Combine data analysis with insights from passengers, driver-partners, and operating teams to understand marketplace problems.
• Develop tactical solutions and contribute to longer-term plans that improve availability, booking experience, service quality, and overall marketplace health.
• Propose and run experiments from end to end, including hypothesis development, experiment design, rollout coordination, results analysis, and recommendations.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 5 years+ of relevant experience in strategy, analytics, project management, consulting, product operations, or a technology-related environment.
• Experience in Excel or Google Sheets, with working knowledge of SQL, Python or another analytical tool
• Experience managing projects involving multiple teams, from initial problem definition through implementation and evaluation.
• Experience in designing experiments, measuring results, or evaluating the impact of business initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Quantitative, business, economics, engineering, or related backgrounds are advantageous.
• Experience in ride-hailing, marketplaces, logistics, e-commerce, travel, or another technology environment is advantageous but not required.
