Job summary

PCI Private Limited, a member of the Celestica family, seeks a senior pricing professional in Indonesia. You will own material pricing strategies, lead cost analyses, and manage pricing lifecycle with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, and sales.

The role emphasizes VA/VE proposals, supplier negotiations, and continuous margin improvements within a global EMS framework. Experience in healthcare segments is a plus, with SAP and MS Office proficiency valued.

Qualifications

• Possesses a Degree in Engineering or a relevant field of study.
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience in an EMS or MNC environment.
• Experience in healthcare segment is a bonus with industry understanding.
• Experienced in cost analysis, material pricing, and sourcing strategy.
• Strong supply base knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical commodities.
• Proven experience in VA/VE proposals.
• Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical skills and negotiation ability.
• Self-confident, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Align on trade-offs between proposal cycle-time, solution precision, and scope with clients to deliver a price strategy.
• Project manage supply chain solutions with commodity management, costing, and engineering teams.
• Prepare material pricing solutions for new bids and manage pricing lifecycle including BOM and margin analysis.
• Provide insight to support external negotiations with customers or suppliers.
• Present proposed solutions to key stakeholders.
• Perform take-down trends analysis and modelling to support service requests.
• Conduct market research and teardowns to enable competitiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement in margin expansion, cycle time, pricing tactics, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for delivering competitive material pricing solutions to support growth and margins as per company objectives.
• Collaborate with global customer unit, customer, program management, business proposal lead, finance, and/or sales to determine material pricing strategy.
• Align on trade-offs between proposal cycle-time, solution precision, and scope with clients to deliver an agreed to price strategy.
• Project manage supply chain solutions with commodity management, costing teams, and engineering teams to deliver desired pricing and margin solutions.
• Prepares material pricing solutions for new business opportunities (bids) and manages ongoing pricing through the lifecycle of the product (re-pricing) including generation of Bill of Material, cost competitive analysis, and margin recommendations.
• Provide insight and recommendations to support external (customers or suppliers) negotiations.
• Presents proposed solution to key stakeholders.
• Perform take-down trends analysis and modelling to leverage insight in service requests.
• Conduct market research and generate product teardowns to enable competitiveness assessments in service requests.
• Proactively drive continuous improvement in margin expansion, cycle time, pricing competitiveness, pricing tactics, and process efficiency.

Requirements:

• Possesses a Degree in Engineering or a relevant field of study
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience in an EMS or MNC environment
• Relevant experience within the healthcare segment is a bonus, with a strong understanding of industry-specific requirements and practices.
• Experienced in cost analysis, material pricing, and sourcing strategy
• Possesses good supply base knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical commodities such as plastics, cables, connectors, modules, PCBs, etc.
• Proven experience in successful VA/VE proposals
• Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a prerequisite
• Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to negotiate
• A self-confident individual, able to work independently with minimal supervision
