Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Management, International Business, Chinese Language, or related field.

The Management Trainee is a development position designed to prepare high-potential employees for future leadership roles by providing structured exposure, hands-on experience, and comprehensive training across the processes and functions of their assigned department. The role is intended to develop strong operational knowledge, management capabilities, problem-solving skills, and leadership competencies to support the Company's long-term talent and succession planning.

The Management Trainee will undergo structured learning, cross-functional exposure, on-the-job training, and practical assignments across relevant departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's business operations, manufacturing processes, management systems, and organizational culture.The role requires strong Mandarin communication skills to facilitate effective communication between Chinese management and Indonesian employees, as well as to support the implementation of company policies, instructions, production requirements, and management initiatives.

The Management Trainee is expected to demonstrate strong learning agility, leadership potential, analytical thinking, discipline, problem-solving ability, and willingness to work directly in a manufacturing environment. The position may be assigned to different departments or functions based on business needs, individual capabilities, performance, and future succession requirements.

Job Descriptions

Provide Mandarin–Indonesian and Indonesian–Mandarin interpretation during meetings, discussions, training sessions, and daily operational activities. Translate company documents, management instructions, SOPs, work instructions, reports, presentations, emails, and other business-related documents.

Ensure translated information is accurate, clear, and consistent with the original meaning and business context. Assist in preparing bilingual documents, reports, presentations, and other management materials. Mandarin Translation & Interpretation. Support Chinese management in communicating policies, operational requirements, production instructions, and management decisions to Indonesian employees. Manufacturing & Departmental Exposure.Gain practical exposure to relevant functions such as Production, Quality, Project, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, Printing, Gift Box, Back End/Finishing, and other departments.

Understand departmental processes, responsibilities, KPIs, and coordination requirements. Support supervisors and managers in daily operational activities and assigned projects. Observe and understand production processes, quality requirements, workflow, manpower, productivity, and operational challenges.

Assist Chinese Expatriate management and department heads in coordinating tasks and following up on management instructions. Facilitate communication and coordination between Chinese management and Indonesian employees when required. Follow up on assigned action items and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely completion. Assist in preparing reports, meeting minutes, presentations, and management summaries.

Understand and comply with company policies, SOPs, work instructions, safety requirements, and applicable regulations. Maintain confidentiality of company, management, customer, and business information. Work closely with Chinese management, Indonesian employees, supervisors, managers, and supporting departments. stablish effective working relationships with employees across different levels and functions. Ensure important information is communicated accurately and in a timely manner. Demonstrate cultural awareness and professionalism when working in a multicultural working environment

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Management, International Business, Chinese Language, or another relevant field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, particularly candidates demonstrating strong leadership potential, learning agility, and interest in developing a career in manufacturing and management.

Candidates with 1–2 years of working experience in manufacturing, management trainee programs, project coordination, administration, or related functions are also encouraged to apply. Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant working experience are welcome.

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Previous experience working with Chinese management, Chinese companies, or multinational organizations is an advantage. Experience in translation, interpretation, project coordination, production, quality, administration, or cross-functional activities is an advantage.

Language Requirements : Fluent Mandarin communication and interpretation skills, Mandarin Chinese – Fluent / HSK 4–5 or equivalent proficiency/ HSK 6 is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written Mandarin. Ability to translate and interpret Mandarin Indonesian accurately in a business and operational context.

Knowledge : Basic understanding of business operations and organizational management, basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations is preferred. Basic understanding of Quality, Production, Project Management, Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, and other supporting functions is an advantage. Understanding of basic management principles, problem-solving, and continuous improvement is preferred.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Willingness to learn company systems, ERP, production management systems, HR systems, and other digital toolsBasic understanding of workplace safety, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
