Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a Maintenance Technician in East Java to conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on production equipment. The role involves monitoring performance, setting up machines, calibrating according to requirements, and ensuring safety compliance.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or vocational degree in mechanical/electrical fields, with 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, and strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities. Shift work is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or vocational degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in machine operation or maintenance.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs on production equipment.
• Monitor machine performance, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot minor operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and calibration according to production requirements and specifications.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Document maintenance activities, including repairs, adjustments, and parts used, accurately and timely.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine utilization and resolve operational challenges.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the production line.
• Report major equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the maintenance supervisor promptly.
