Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a maintenance technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment in the In-Line 4 processing unit, ensuring safe, continuous production aligned with company standards.

You will monitor machinery, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot basic issues, conduct quality checks, and record data. The role requires teamwork, safety compliance, and willingness to work night shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent; technical certificate is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in industrial production or maintenance.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and procedures.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, inspections, and minor adjustments.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and operational issues, escalating as needed.
• Conduct quality checks on products during production and report deviations.
• Record production data, maintenance activities, and equipment status.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and adhere to safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize workflows.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of new equipment or processes.
