Job summary

Vopak Netherlands in Jakarta seeks a Stores and Workshop Supervisor to oversee parts inventory management, CMMS data integrity, and workshop tool lifecycle in a maintenance environment.

The role requires an engineering background and English proficiency, with 3–5 years of related experience. You will coordinate stock replenishment, procurement, and compliance with safety protocols while delivering KPI reports.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Diploma or Bachelor) with GPA 2.75 on a 4.00 scale.
• 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance organization or equivalent.
• Excellent logistics and communication skills; ability to communicate in English.
• Experience with EAM/CMMS software and general computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage parts inventory and keep CMMS data up to date.
• Supervise storage operations, returns, and stock transactions accuracy.
• Determine stock replenishment methods and perform register of new parts; ensure MSDS when required.
• Plan and execute procurement to maintain stock levels and budget checks.

Key Result Areas

Stores Management

• Responsible for parts inventory management and maintaining up-to-date materials module in CMMS.
• Supervision physical issues/returns of parts/consumables from/to stores and monitor the accuracy of daily stock transactions.
• Determine stock replenishment method (min/max., reorder level, on-demand), register new parts, and ensures the MSDS (whenever required) are updated.
• Effectively plans storekeeping activities to support maintenance activities.
• Initiates procurement requirements, in order to ensure that conditions are fulfilled to maintain the stock level and have the administrative/budget checks for inventory management.
• Identify, investigate, and report stock variance, and check compliance of differences are in line with stock variance KPIs.
• Accurately performs periodical physical inventory counts, update book stock, and provide KPI reports and trend analysis in relation to parts inventory management.
• Ensures parts/consumables are stored properly, in good condition, and provides aging/obsolete/deadstock inventory report (whenever present).

Workshop Management

• Responsible for maintenance workshop management and maintaining the life-cycle of tools stored in the workshop area.
• General supervision of maintenance workshop activities and ensures an approved Job Safety Assessment or HIRA are in place.
• Plan and perform housekeeping in the maintenance workshop and other stores’ locations and surrounding areas.
• Initiates procurement requirements, in order to ensure that conditions are fulfilled to maintain the tools stored in the workshop area, or to dispose of scrap material (asset disposal).
• Actively participate in keeping the safe, healthy and secure work environment and also environmentally friendly.
• Have safety talks in the field during SORs;
• Report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents and accident immediately to a member of the terminal team.
• Approach colleagues, management, contractors and third parties and give feedback on their (safety) behaviour.
• Correctly follow all safety regulations.

Key Performance Indicators

• Full compliance to Vopak Fundamentals.
• Zero LTI (Lost Time Incident) and achieving the yearly targets set by SHEQ Departments.
• Maintaining optimal stock level whilst the stock variance is kept at the lowest possible level within the agreed target.
• Workshop housekeeping, and tools availability/readiness.
• No unnecessary stock keeping, stock out (low stock), and deadstock.
• Number of well executed and correctly reported SORs according to schedule.
• Number UA, UC, NM, incidents and accidents reports that are immediately verbally reported and in detail reported in Enablon.
• Number of times where you gave constructive feedback to people that was appreciated and accepted by those people.
• Number of executed SHEQ improvement ideas.
• Always followed VTJ’s procedures and instructions (to be measured: non-compliance moments).

Decision-Making

• Determine stock replenishment method (min/max., reorder level, on-demand).

Skills & Knowledge

• Experience in the usage of EAM/CMMS programs and proficient computer skills.
• Preferable to have project & maintenance management knowledge
