Job summary

Raffles Bali is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to lead our luxury housekeeping team across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest experience.

You will run daily operations, develop the team, plan staff schedules and budgets, and collaborate with Front Office, Engineering and F&B to deliver seamless, boutique‑level service in our 32 ocean‑view villas.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3-5 years housekeeping experience, incl. 2+ years as supervisor/manager in a 5-star or luxury hotel.
• Strong knowledge of luxury service standards and attention to detail.
• Experience with property management and housekeeping systems such as Opera, Future Log.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Good English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping work across guest rooms, suites, public areas, laundry and linen rooms.
• Ensure brand and luxury standards and LQA are followed consistently.
• Conduct regular room and area inspections and fix gaps quickly.
• Plan staff schedules, room assignments and labour costs based on occupancy.
• Recruit, train, coach and assess supervisors, room attendants and public area staff.
• Handle VIP arrivals, special guest requests and guest complaints personally.
• Manage stock of linen, guest amenities, cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Help prepare and monitor the department budget, and control costs.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering and F&B to ensure timely room readiness and maintenance.
• Ensure health, safety, hygiene and environmental rules are followed.
• Support sustainability efforts to reduce waste, water and chemical use.
• Lead the department when the Executive Housekeeper is absent.
