Job summary

Jumeirah Bali, a water-inspired sanctuary in Uluwatu, invites a skilled Chef de Partie Bakery to join our luxury kitchen. You will prepare high-quality bakery items, maintain mise-en-place, assist in menu development, and ensure HACCP compliance under the Chef De Cuisine.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a fine dining or luxury hospitality, strong baking skills, English proficiency, and teamwork. Local Indonesian candidates are preferred; the role is on-site at Jumeirah Bali.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong baking and pastry skills with ability to manage Bakery section.
• Sound knowledge of food prep, presentation, and safety standards.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time management.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality bakery items per menu and recipes.
• Garnish, portion, and present dishes to high standards.
• Maintain mise-en-place and ensure timely readiness for service.
• Assist Chef De Cuisine and Sous Chef in daily prep and service.
• Manage Bakery station, delegate tasks to juniors, ensure smooth service periods.
• Participate in development of new menu ideas with seasonal ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and adherence to HACCP and standards.
• Lead staff training with Sous Chef and mentor junior chefs.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures and record-keeping.
• Optimize resources (food, energy, labor, water) and report equipment issues.
