Job summary

PT Smoore Technology Indonesia is seeking a Logistics Specialist to oversee daily freight inquiries, space bookings, trucking, container inspections, and real-time shipment tracking for inbound and outbound goods.

The role enforces strict tracking protocols to gather required documents and information from freight forwarders before pickup or delivery, and develops rapid solutions for in-transit risks and port congestion. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in logistics or related field.
• Fresh graduates or with 1+ years of experience are welcome.
• Experience in forwarder, shipping line, or manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily logistics operations including freight inquiries, space bookings, trucking arrangements, container sealing inspections, and real-time tracking for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Enforce strict tracking protocols to collect mandatory shipping information and documents from freight forwarders prior to cargo pickup or delivery.
• Map out in-transit risks and deploy immediate solutions for delays, damages, or port congestion.
• Cross-check deliveries, internal data, and forwarder documents to capture discrepancies before custom filing.
• Coordinate with forwarders to compile, submit, and track the Four Core Documents for port customs closure.
• Act as first-line contact for forwarders and provide updated booking alternatives during vessel changes or delays.
• Manage monthly billing cycle, invoice collection, data auditing, and cost analysis.
• Maintain logistics information systems to ensure data fidelity between warehouse operations and records.
• Translate raw import/export data into actionable logistics reports for leadership.
• Support the Manager in enforcing regional supply chain compliance guidelines.

Job description

Direct daily logistics operations including freight inquiries, space bookings, trucking arrangements, container sealing inspections, and real-time tracking for all inbound/outbound shipments

Enforce strict tracking protocols to collect mandatory shipping information and documents from freight forwarders prior to cargo pickup or delivery

Map out in-transit risks and deploy immediate, structural solutions for logistical anomalies such as delays, damages, or port congestion

Conduct rigorous daily cross-checks between physical cargo deliveries, internal data, and forwarder document drafts to proactively capture discrepancies before formal custom filing

Coordinate with forwarders to ensure compilation, submission, and tracking of the Four Core Documents to guarantee successful port customs closure

Act as the first-line contact for forwarders; upon receiving notifications of sudden vessel changes, flight cancellations, or transport delays, instantly compile updated booking alternatives and report to the Bonded Facility PIC

Manage the comprehensive monthly billing cycle—handling invoice collection, rigorous data auditing, summary preparation, internal payment processing, and structural logistics cost analysis

Maintain and optimize internal logistics information systems to ensure data fidelity between physical warehouse operations and digital records

Compile and translate raw import/export operational data into actionable logistics analysis reports for leadership

Manage the application and issuance of critical logistics certificates and shipping letters while supporting the Manager in enforcing regional supply chain compliance guidelines

About you

Bachelor's degree or above in logistics major

Fresh or more than 1 years of work experience

Work experience in related forwarder, shipping line, or manufacturing companies is preferred

Understand the logistics operation process of import and export

Strong active thinking and understanding abilities

Good organization, coordination and communication skills
