Job summary

Siba Cargo Batam is seeking a proactive marketing professional to grow its cargo, logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping client base. You will focus on acquiring new customers, maintaining relationships, and helping to hit sales targets.

Responsibilities include market research, facility visits, and mastering Microsoft Office to prepare activity reports for management. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years in the field are preferred; own laptop is expected.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marketing cargo, logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping.

Responsibilities

• Target oriented and able to work individually and as part of a team.
• Source new customers and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct visits to cargo facilities and other companies to establish partnerships.
• Conduct regular market research and monitor price movements, logistics industry trends, and competitor strategies.
• Master Microsoft Office and sales administration.
• Prepare and submit marketing activity reports (client progress, visit results, and target achievement) regularly to management.
