Job summary

Milkyway Intelligent Supply Chain Service Group seeks a skilled logistics professional to support Indonesia Local Sales and Operations. You will handle customer inquiries, booking coordination, MCP system entry, and preparation of export statements, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up from booking to delivery.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field, at least 3 years in freight forwarding or logistics, strong English and Bahasa Indonesia communication, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, English, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, international trade, or customer service.
• Experience with ocean import/export operations, booking coordination and documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Indonesia (Mandarin a plus).
• Familiar with bookings, invoicing, MCP or similar freight-forwarding systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with chemical/dangerous goods shipments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Local Sales with customer enquiries, rate confirmation, shipment instructions, and timely booking, schedule, and exception updates.
• Submit bookings to carriers, co-loaders, and overseas agents; follow up booking confirmations, vessel schedules, and space release.
• Coordinate import and export shipment documentation, including shipping instructions, bill of lading drafts, arrival notices, release documentation, and related customer communications.
• Track shipments from origin through final delivery; proactively communicate shipment status, schedule changes, delays, and operational exceptions to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with truckers, warehouses, terminals, customs brokers, carriers, and overseas agents for cargo release, delivery arrangements, empty return, and operational follow-up.
• Enter job, booking, receivable, payable, and operational information into MCP accurately and on time.
• Export statements and reports from MCP; support charge checks, debit and credit note verification, and the maintenance of complete electronic business files.
• Maintain a professional, responsive customer-service standard while managing multiple shipments and daily priorities; perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
