Job summary

WVI in Indonesia seeks a Livelihood and Resilience Specialist to lead the design, budgeting and implementation of food security and climate-resilient livelihoods across districts. You will oversee monitoring and evaluation and support integration with other sectors, ensuring donor compliance and high-quality programming.

The role requires strong leadership, field coordination, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally, with a focus on vulnerable communities and inclusive growth.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' work experience in livelihoods resilience and economic development
• Experience in a complex, international NGO context
• Experience in project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and report writing
• Master’s degree or equivalent in livelihoods, agriculture, agroforestry livestock or fishery, economic development, or a related field
• Fluent or proficient in English
• Knowledge of systems approach to Livelihoods programming
• Strong planning and project management skills
• Inter-personal communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Cultural sensitivity and understanding of local context

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed implementation plans for food security and livelihoods projects.
• Coordinate monitoring, evaluation activities and need assessments in implementation areas.
• Develop and review integration of food security and climate-resilient agriculture programming.
• Coordinate emergency livelihood programming during crises with budgeting and quality assurance.
• Lead capacity building for LH area programme staff and partners.
