Job summary

LINE Corporation's Jakarta LINE Indonesia is seeking a Global Typesetting Project Manager to coordinate content localization projects across Indonesia and global WEBTOON teams. The role focuses on freelancer pool management, project lifecycle oversight, and QA to ensure timely, high-quality releases for multiple markets.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in PM within localization or typesetting, strong English and Bahasa Indonesia skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in Localization, DTP, or Typesetting.
• Hands-on PM experience with languages (English, French, Japanese and others).
• Native proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Freelancer Pool Management: Source, test, onboard, and manage a high-performing pool of Indonesian typesetting freelancers, ensuring scalable and high-quality output.
• Project Lifecycle Ownership: Oversee the entire project lifecycle for global markets, from initial quoting and scheduling to final delivery.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and execute rigorous QA workflows for freelancer deliverables to maintain premium standards across various global markets.
• Process Optimization: Refine and standardize typesetting guidelines and workflows for diverse language pairs, continuously improving production efficiency.
• Strategic Communication: Act as a strategic bridge between global clients and freelancers, translating complex client feedback into clear, actionable technical instructions.
• Timeline Synchronization: Synchronize raw production schedules with global launch timelines to spearhead seamless, non-stop weekly/regular simultaneous publication workflows.

About the Role: Global Typesetting Project Manager

This position will work with our team in Indonesia and global counterpart of WEBTOON all over the world. As a Global PM, you will be taking a huge part in ensuring our service run smoothly through managing projects related to content localization. Basic Qualifications

• Strong affection towards WEBTOON, social trends, pop culture, and other entertainment content in general
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the Localization, DTP, or Typesetting industry.
• Hands‑on execution or PM experience with key languages (English, French, Japanese and others).
• A proactive self‑starter who identifies operational bottlenecks and streamlines workflows rather than just following existing manuals.
• Experience managing high‑velocity, fast‑turnaround projects, such as simultaneous releases or live‑series content updates on digital platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in team.
• Native proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and professional fluency in English
• Available to join immediately in August 2026 and follow hybrid working arrangement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding or structural familiarity with a third language such as Korean, Japanese, French, etc.
• Proven experience in managing, motivating, and tracking the performance of 100% remote freelancer pools, preferably in a cross‑border or multicultural environment.
