Job summary

Sun Life is seeking an experienced Product Lead in Jakarta to drive life insurance product development, pricing, and market strategy. You will collaborate with distribution, marketing and compliance to ensure successful launches and ongoing product performance across channels.

The role requires deep actuarial and market insight, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate data into actionable product plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines (Actuarial Science, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Business)
Minimum 5 years in life insurance, with 2+ years in product development/management/marketing
CLI or equivalent insurance certification
Strong understanding of life insurance products and market dynamics
Experience in product development processes, pricing, regulatory requirements, and product launches
Proficient in market research and translating insights into strategies
Analytical mindset and ability to leverage data and AI tools for innovation
Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

Deliver product initiatives based on timelines and prepare marketing materials.
Discuss new product proposals focusing on proposition, value, and marketing aspects.
Moderate Product Development Governance meetings with related parties.
Prepare materials for product discussions with Distribution and Marketing.
Support OJK submissions and feedback processes.
Create training slides for Trainers and Operations teams.
Lead product socialization efforts.
Provide performance reports after product launches.
Analyze and compare life insurance products in the market.
Lead website development for the company.
