Job summary

Manulife and John Hancock is seeking a Product Implementation Manager to lead end-to-end life insurance product implementation from concept to launch. You will work across Product, IT, Operations, and Actuarial teams to analyze requirements, document specifications, support UAT, and ensure successful post-launch operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in life insurance product development/management/implementation or related functions.
• Good understanding of life insurance products, operational processes, and system implementation lifecycle.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across business and technology functions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and proactive in driving outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end product implementation activities for new products, product enhancements, and strategic initiatives to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Review and coordinate product specifications, business requirements, and implementation documentation to ensure requirements are clearly defined and understood by stakeholders.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, requirement clarifications, and implementation planning activities.
• Coordinate UAT activities with business users and technology teams, ensuring participation, issue resolution, and business readiness prior to implementation.
• Support preparation and implementation of customer-facing documentation and operational requirements related to product launches.
• Monitor implementation progress, identify risks and dependencies, and coordinate with stakeholders to support timely resolution.
• Support product launch readiness activities to ensure operational, system, training, and communication requirements are completed before launch.
• Assist in managing post-launch activities, production issue resolutions, and enhancement initiatives.
