Job summary

Rasa Group is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Specialist to manage corporate documents, contracts, and compliance across the business. You will provide support to internal departments, identify risks, and coordinate with external counsel as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Law and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with familiarity in licensing, regulatory matters, and IP protection. Proactive, confidential handling of multiple matters is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in corporate or commercial legal roles; strong drafting and advisory capabilities.
• Solid understanding of corporate law, commercial agreements, and regulations.
• Law degree (S1) with focus on business/corporate/civil law; familiarity with licensing and compliance.
• Familiar with government systems and proficient in office software.

Job description

Rasa Group is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Specialist to manage the company's legal documentation, corporate matters, business agreements, and regulatory compliance. This role will provide legal support across business functions, identify potential legal risks, and ensure the company's business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Corporate Legal: Manage corporate legal documents, including company deeds, corporate records, resolutions, and other legal documentation.

Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage business agreements, including vendor, supplier, partnership, distribution, employment, and outlet lease agreements.

Legal Compliance & Licensing: Monitor regulatory compliance, manage business and operational permits, track license renewals, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Legal Advisory & Risk Management: Provide legal advice to internal departments, identify potential legal risks, and recommend appropriate solutions for business and operational matters.

Dispute & Employment Matters: Handle legal correspondence, claims, disputes, and employment-related legal matters, including coordination with external legal counsel when necessary.

Legal Documentation & Reporting: Maintain organized legal records, contract databases, licensing documents, and compliance reports.

Intellectual Property: Handle trademark registration, brand protection, and other intellectual property matters.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate legal, commercial legal and legal operations.

Good understanding of corporate law, commercial agreements, contract drafting, and applicable business regulations.

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Law, preferably in Business Law, Corporate Law, or Civil Law.

Familiarity with government systems such as OSS and AHU Online, and proficient in Microsoft Office

Familiarity with business licensing, regulatory compliance, employment law, and dispute resolution.

Understanding of intellectual property, particularly trademark registration and brand protection.

Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple legal matters independently while maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, retail, or multi-outlet companies.

Familiarity with food industry regulations, halal certification, and operational permits.

Good command of English and experience coordinating with external legal counsel.

PERADI advocate license or relevant legal certifications are an advantage.
